The Pennyspot Herd

The Pennyspot Herd of White Parks was formed by John Carrick in 1995 with the purchase of 3 females from the Ridgeway and Ash Herds. Now numbering 40 cows the herd grazes the River Wensum water meadows in central Norfolk.

 

Female offspring are offered for sale to other breeders and bull calves are fattened and sold through the farm butchery.

The White Park Cattle are the ideal choice for conservation grazing and support the farm’s High Level Stewardship Scheme with their grazing of the species rich grassland.
